Vantastic Barber – Terms and Conditions (2026)


1. Introduction
Vantastic Barber is a business of AGS Mahal Pty Ltd, ABN 81 633 291 782. We provide mobile barber services and hair products. These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding contract between you (the Customer) and Vantastic Barber. By visiting our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms.


2. Eligibility
Our services and website are only available to individuals who are legally capable of entering into a binding contract. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must book the service on your behalf.


3. Bookings and Arrival Windows

  • Booking Process: Bookings must be made and paid for online via www.vantasticbarber.com.au. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email or text. If money is deducted but you receive no confirmation, please contact us at 1800 265 807 or info@vantasticbarber.com.au.
  • Arrival Windows: Due to traffic, road conditions, and the variable nature of haircuts, we cannot guarantee an exact arrival time. We operate on “Time Slots” (e.g., 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM). The barber will arrive at your address anytime within this selected window.
  • Delays: If we are delayed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., traffic), we will notify you. If the delay is significant and you wish to cancel, we will provide a full refund.

 

4. Parking Requirements & Location Suitability
Our vans are larger than average SUVs (approx. 2.8m high) and require specific parking conditions.

  • Driveway Conditions: Customers must provide safe, flat parking on their driveway. We cannot park in your driveway if:
  • The driveway is too small for the van.
  • The driveway has a steep gradient, slope, or descent that prevents the barber from standing upright, maintaining balance, or working safely.
  • It is dangerous to reverse in or out.
  • Mandatory Street Parking: If your driveway is deemed unsuitable by the barber for the reasons above, or if it is occupied, the barber will park on the street immediately in front of or to the side of your address.
  • Street Parking Liability: If services are performed while parked on the street, Vantastic Barber is not liable for any injuries, damages, or claims resulting from third-party vehicles crashing into, sideswiping, or interacting with the van while the customer is inside.


5. Customer Safety, Injury Waiver & Conduct
To ensure the safety of our staff and customers, the following strict rules apply:

  • Entry & Exit Procedure: Customers must enter and exit the van slowly and carefully using the provided steps/rails. You must not be distracted (e.g., using a mobile phone) or rushing. Vantastic Barber is not liable for any slips, trips, falls, or injuries sustained by customers entering or exiting the van.
  • Guests Prohibited: Only the person receiving the haircut is permitted inside the van. Friends, family, or spectators must wait outside or in the house. We are not liable for injuries to unauthorized guests attempting to enter or sit in the van.
  • Child Safety:
  • Supervision: A parent or guardian must be present at all times when a minor is getting a haircut.
  • Waiting: Children must not enter the van until it is their specific turn.
  • Street Safety: Barbers cannot supervise children. Vantastic Barber is not responsible if a child exits the van and runs onto the street/roadway or sustains an injury outside the van.
  • Intoxication & Hygiene: We reserve the right to refuse service if a customer is under the influence of drugs/alcohol, has poor hygiene, or displays aggression. In such cases, service will be denied, and a 50% cancellation fee will apply.


6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • Customer Cancellation:
  • More than 4 hours notice: Full refund.
  • Less than 4 hours notice: 50% of the booking fee is charged; the remainder is refunded.
  • Early Morning Appointments: For slots between 8 AM – 12 PM, you must notify us by 8:00 PM the previous night to avoid the 50% fee.
  • Lateness: If you are more than 10 minutes late to the van after the barber has arrived, we may cancel your appointment to avoid delaying other customers. This will be treated as a “Less than 4 hours” cancellation (50% charge).
  • Barber Cancellation: If we must cancel due to illness, van breakdown, weather, or government restrictions, you will receive a full refund.


7. Vantastic Club – Subscription Terms

  • Overview: Vantastic Club is a recurring monthly subscription. By subscribing, you secure a discounted rate for one haircut per billing cycle.
  • Usage Policy (“Use It or Lose It”): Your subscription covers a slot for the current billing month only. It does not roll over. If you do not book your appointment within your billing cycle, the credit is forfeited. It is your responsibility to book via the website before your month expires.
  • Discounts & Fair Use:
  • Introductory Offer: New members receive 20% off for the first 3 months.
  • Standard Rate: From month 4 onwards, the discount is 10%.
  • Re-joining: If you cancel and re-subscribe, you do not get the 20% offer again. You will resume at the Standard Rate (10% off).
  • Identity: Subscribers cannot use different phone numbers or family members’ details to trigger the introductory discount again. The service is for the named subscriber only.
  • Cancellation: There is no lock-in contract. You can cancel anytime by emailing info@vantasticbarber.com.au. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.


8. Social Media & Media Consent

  • Content Creation: Our barbers may take photographs or record videos of haircuts (using handheld or chest-mounted cameras) for use on Vantastic Barber social media channels.
  • Consent: By proceeding with the service, you imply consent for Vantastic Barber to use these images/videos for promotional purposes. We are not liable for any issues arising from the public posting of this content.
  • Opt-Out: If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you must explicitly inform the barber before the service begins or email us at info@vantasticbarber.com.au.


9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
